Patient–trial matching for oncology
The right trial exists. Finding it shouldn't take months.
Thousands of cancer trials are enrolling right now — but fewer than 5% of patients ever join one. ClinicalMatch turns confusing eligibility criteria into a clear, verified shortlist of trials that fit your exact diagnosis.
Free for patients and caregivers. No account needed to search.

From diagnosis to shortlist in three steps
Public registries list every trial. We do the harder part: figuring out which ones actually fit you.
Tell us about your diagnosis
Answer plain-language questions about your cancer type, stage, biomarkers, and treatment history. Medical jargon is translated as you go — you'll never be asked something you can't answer.
We match against real criteria
Our database restructures free-text inclusion and exclusion criteria into data we can actually match against — so your results reflect the full criteria, not just three screening questions.
Review options with a nurse
Oncology-trained nurse navigators help you prioritize matches, understand what participation involves, and prepare questions for your treating physician.
Built to fix what registry search gets wrong
Existing tools return long, outdated lists that patients must decode alone. ClinicalMatch was designed around those exact failure points.
Cancer-type-specific databases
Instead of one giant registry, we maintain curated databases per cancer type containing only open, relevant trials — so every result starts out plausible.
Search that understands synonyms
Type metastatic breast cancer and we also search stage IV and advanced — down to biomarker precision like HER2-positive.
Verified, current trial data
Registry listings often show closed sites as open or stale contact details. We augment public data and verify enrollment status so you don't chase dead ends.
People, not just algorithms
Specially trained nurses help you sort through results and concerns — because choosing a trial is a medical decision, not a search-engine result.

Why we're building this
After fifteen years launching clinical trials across 40 countries, one pattern kept repeating: trials failing to enroll while eligible patients, sometimes in the same city, never heard about them.
Eligibility criteria protect the science. But no one designed them to be readable by the person whose life depends on finding the right trial.
ClinicalMatch applies the same feasibility and eligibility expertise used to plan global trials — in the opposite direction. Instead of finding patients for a study, we find studies for a patient.

Recruitment gap
Sites can't find eligible patients. Patients can't find open sites. The data to connect them already exists — it's just unstructured.
